Our vineyard progeny!
Roman Road has a dual passion for its vineyard and its Speckle Park cattle stud. Our vineyard progeny are produced from mature vines in the beautiful Lower Chittering Valley of Western Australia and named after special members of our stud.
The Real Deal Shiraz 2024 is Roman Road’s powerhouse of the winery, aptly named after our first stud bull Real Deal (R322). Real Deal is the father to our beautiful Tiffany Rosé.
This single vintage Shiraz is both complex and generous - exhibiting dark forest fruits combined with rich oak flavours. This Shiraz can be enjoyed as a young wine, or will reward medium term cellaring just like any good stud bull as it matures.
The Volt Chenin 2025 is Roman Road’s first wine offering from Brockman Park, so it is aptly named after Volt (V14) who was our first stud calf born at that property.
This single vintage Chenin is refreshing, clean and light-bodied delivering beautiful gooseberry, passionfruit and green apple aromas and flavours, with a crisp, dry palate. Enjoy as a young wine or age carefully to see this wine evolve.
The Tiffany Rosé 2025 is named after our first stud heifer Tiffany (T1) who was born in 2022 in the paddock next to the vineyard, and was first produced in 2024.
This single vintage Rosé is a dry and flavoursome wine, with a hint of cranberries, and a refreshing and crisp finish. Vibrant pink in colour, it delivers an aroma reminiscent of strawberries and cream. Perfect to drink all year round!

We are delighted to announce that we will be offering our first Chardonnay and Sparkling vintages, available in October 2025. These are being produced on a small scale and we look forward to sharing them with you. If you would like to go on the waitlist to experience these new offerings, please email to reserve your order.

Vineyards
Our journey from grape grower to wine producer has evolved over the last seven years. With ~23,000 vines spread over two properties and covering four varietals, it truly is a labour of love.
Tending the vines is intense at times but those efforts deliver a picturesque view in the summer amidst what can be a very parched and bleak landscape. The reward for all the hard work is in tasting the wines that are now being created because of those efforts.

Roman Road Speckles
Explore our Cattle Stud, where we produce top-quality Speckle Park Cattle. With carefully selected genetics and a focus on good nature and nurture, we're dedicated to breeding and raising exceptional livestock.
Our cattle are part of our family and we pride ourselves on their gentle nature and beautiful appearance.
In addition to the Speckle Park Stud stock, we also run a small Murray Grey commercial herd lovingly crossed with our magnificent stud bulls.
